Advertise, Advertise, Advertise!!! That’s the key!
Try making up some flyers and passing them out. Run a special for new customers. One company i use did that and now they are the ones i return too. they gave me a chance to try them without being too pricey.
Quality, Service, Be there for your customer. the only thing that sets us apart from 2 guys in a truck whoring up the market is we do what we say when we say we are going to do it. after all really anyone can mow grass, professionals treat their customers great.
Hire illegal Africans instead of illegal Mexicans, they work much cheaper.
Be the best.
teach some tricks to your costumers
like “clean your tools with alcohol”
they will never do that, but they will think, “well, hi gave a tip”
be constant with your pricing and your routine allways be there on time and dont rip your customers off… good reccomendations will keep work coming in year after year but a bad reputation will spread like wildfire and close you down in a week
Word of mouth is the best advertisement for small businesses – so treat your current customers like gold and do a great job for them. Also mention to them that you are looking for new clients and ask them to pass your information along to anyone they may know.
